The Red Dance

This dance is suitable for experienced dancers only. You need to be an independent dancer with the ability to dance an unfamiliar dance.

This dance may occasionally be walked once or twice as needed.

    1C in prom hold (L on left) RSH reel of 3 with 2C, end facing 3M

    9-16
    1C RSh reel of 3 with 3C, 1C end in centre facing Men’s side

    17-24
    1C dance out, cast away (L-up, M-down), meet, dance out Ladies side & cast away to lines of 3 & 3. Meanwhile, 2+3Cs dance R+L

    25-32
    All 3Cs set twice, 1C turn RH 1¾ times to 2nd place in the middle ready to start again

    Note: 2nd time through 29-32: 1C turn ¾ RH & lead down to 4th place (4C step up)
